One District One Product (ODOP) – 2024 (Cashew Kernels)

INTRODUCTION:
Cashew is main livelihood Horticulture Crop in Tekkali Jurisdiction in Particular and in the district in general. Due to adaptable agro climate, access to Processing Industries. Cashew is cultivated in around 24000 Hectares in the district. Cashew cultivated in all geographical agronomical conditions viz., Plains, Tribal high altitude zones, and Sea Coasts. The Extent of Bearing orchards is 22,000 Hectares.
